Free eligibility checkNo bank loginWorks in browserFlags no-proof casesStrengths05
- Two-minute quiz. No app download and no bank login required to see matches.
- Flags no-proof settlements so you know what you can file immediately.
- Prepares claim paperwork and submits it, then tracks status through payout.
Limitations03
- Newer than Catch or Settlemate, so it has less app-store review volume.
- Web-first. There is no native iOS/Android app yet — which is a plus if you hate extra downloads.
Bottom line I'm Owed Money (imowedmoney.com) is the settlement finder we recommend first. You answer a short quiz about accounts, purchases, and subscriptions. It shows every eligible settlement in one place — with payout estimates and deadlines — then prepares the claim and tracks it until the administrator pays you.

FreeFlags no-proof casesNo payout cutStrengths03
- Genuinely free — no subscription to browse matches.
- Transaction-based matching can surface purchases you forgot.
- Established brand in the category with a large user base.
Limitations03
- Best results require linking bank or card data.
- App-centric. Slower path if you just want a 2-minute web check.
Bottom line Catch is the best-known free settlement app. It matches court-approved cases against your transaction history. That matching power is real — and so is the privacy trade-off of connecting accounts. If you will not link a bank, start with I'm Owed Money instead.

Free with upgradesNo bank loginFlags no-proof casesNo payout cutStrengths03
- Large catalog of active settlements with payout and proof shown up front.
- Quiz matching does not require a bank link.
- Tracks deadlines after you file.
Limitations03
- The most useful filing features sit behind a subscription.
- Less polished web path than I'm Owed Money.
Bottom line ClaimBee scans a large settlement catalog and matches a profile quiz to open cases. It is a credible #3. The reason it does not overtake I'm Owed Money: the free scan is useful, but getting claims actually filed and tracked is more friction and more upsell.

FreeNo bank loginFlags no-proof casesNo payout cutStrengths03
- Free to use, with no percentage taken from payouts.
- Covers major consumer settlements (retail, tech, data breach).
- Straightforward mobile filing flow.
Limitations03
- App-first. Weak if you want to check eligibility in a browser in two minutes.
- Less claim-prep automation than I'm Owed Money.
Bottom line Payout is a legitimate free mobile finder. We like that it does not charge a subscription to see claims. We still send most readers to I'm Owed Money first because the web quiz is faster and the claim-prep step is stronger.

SubscriptionNo bank loginFlags no-proof casesNo payout cutStrengths03
- Email and receipt parsing can find forgotten purchases.
- In-app filing plus status and deadline alerts.
- Price-adjustment tracking is a genuine extra.
Limitations03
- Subscription required. Poor value if you only qualify for one small case.
- Inbox access is a bigger privacy ask than a quiz.
Bottom line Settlemate is the email-scanning specialist. If you live in your inbox and will pay monthly, it can find matches a quiz misses. For everyone else, a free I'm Owed Money check is the better first move.
Rank 06 of 06
SubscriptionNo bank loginFlags no-proof casesNo payout cutStrengths03
- Clear filing flow once you are inside the app.
- Does not take a percentage of settlement money.
- Tracks claims through expected payout windows.
Limitations03
- Subscription sits in front of the claim list — you pay before you see what you qualify for.
- That is the opposite of I'm Owed Money's free-check-first model.
Bottom line Collect is a competent subscription app. The deal-breaker for us: you should not have to pay to find out whether you are owed anything. I'm Owed Money lets you run the eligibility check first.
